Possible Consequences of MV charges
Municipal Courts have discretion on imposing
jail time and license suspension. Depending on the circumstances
and defendant’s driving
history, penalties will be determined by a court. You can go
to jail, lose a license, pay surcharges to NJMVC, and pay fines
to the court. Below are some examples, but each case varies.
I urge you to contact this office to discuss your case.
